So if the Australian cricketers have finished playing golf they will hopefully be able to focus of the game that starts tomorrow up in Sydney. it is going to be very important for Australia to come away with another win because India is such a good team and with players like Sachin Tendulkar ready to punce on any stray deliveries they are really going to have to make sure that their entire game is played very well. Sachin is looking to score his 100th international century and as much as I would like to see him score it, I really hope that he doesn’t do it while he is playing against Australia. If he were to do it against New Zealand, England or South Africa this would make me very happy. I hope that Ricky Ponting and Michael Hussy stand up and bat really well again because it is good to see the experienced players doing really well for their country.

Need to play golf properly

Have you ever tried to play golf before only to realise you really are not that good at it? This is exactly how I felt when I first started to play and now that I have the hang of it I am sure that I will be a lot better in the future. It was a little bit embarrassing going out on a work function and realising that I really could not play the game at all. In the industry that I am in most of the deals get done over a game of golf and not being able to play is really not a good thing. You need to at least have some basic skills otherwise you will just be hitting and the people you are playing with will think they have the upper hand straight away. If you can play on the golf course it means you have had enough time to actually master the game, and some of the guys in my business make a lot of time to get out and play when most people should be at work. This is because they have the money to not need to be working as hard as some of them.

The Aussies Won The Cricket And Now Need To Focus

I heard some great news yesterday and that was simply that the Australian’s had won the Boxing Day Test Match against the Indian team. This was completely unexpected and I understand that the Australian’s are now planning on playing a lot of golf over the coming days in an attempt to relax. I think that both teams actually played quite poorly but the Australians just played slightly better. It was good to see the big name players standing up and taking a bit of the stress on their shoulders and actually batting well. And the bowling lineup even performed quite well, but there is still a lot of room for improvement though across the entire team. I think we need to focus a bit on building a team instead of letting them change the team every single game in the hope of getting the right combinations together. We have just come through an era where the Australian cricketers were the dominant team in the world and we were just about unbeatable. Now is the time to really focus on getting a good solida team together instead of constantly changing the team around every single game. I think it is a good thing that Michael Clarke is a selector for the team and that he actually has some input into who he will be leading onto the field each game. I have heard that a few of the team like to play the pokies online and I am not so sure that this is necessarily a good thing. I would like to see them really concentrating on the game and ensuring that they are performing to their absolute best and then they can do these sort of things when they are not actually in a tournament or representing the country. The thing is that the internet is so widely used theses days and most of the team have iPads and they can access this sort of thing from wherever they are in the world.

The end of year cricket trip

I think once the cricket season is over the players will definitely be looking for some good holiday packages and I think I know exactly where they should go to get them. I have had a lot of good holidays in Thailand and our cricket team actually goes there ever year at the end of the season. We always have a great time and even though our girlfriends give us a hard time about what it is exactly we are up to we still try to enjoy it as much as possible. We train really hard throughout the year and we don’t see the point in not trying to have a good time when we go over there. Anyway, this year we will definitely be booking one of the Thailand holiday packages that we saw online the other day and hopefully the club will pay for it quickly. It is great to get the entire team together after the season to really catch up and just kick back and relax and forget about the hard training and some of the tension that builds up in the team over the course of the year. I have never seen a group of guys go on this trip and not bond better for it. We like to give some of the new guys a hard time but by the end of the trip we are all best mates and sometimes it’s hard to forget that “what goes on the road, stays on the road” because we always have such good stories to tell about our trips.

We are doing well in the cricket

So I just came back fro a good hit out down at the driving range and I am amazed to see the cricket score. Even though we are back in bat and already have 4 people out the tow basmen that are currently in are doing really well. Michael Hussey and Ricky Ponting have already scored a 100 run partnership and this is a great thing for the Australian team. So far we have been playing pretty average but this partnership is looking quite promising. I wish I would have been able to see how the game was going from the golf driving range but I probably would have been disappointed to see so many batsmen getting out so quickly. Anyway, we are in with a good chance as long as our bowlers bowl well and Sachin Tendulkar and the other Indian players don’t bat very well.

Something really unfortunate happened in the past few days in the Boxing Day Test Match. Thanks to the Indian players refusing to allow the video replays to be used by the umpires a couple of the Australian players were unfairly dismissed and the players that have had this hapoen to them really did not need that. They had already been struggling for form and they were dismissed by the umpires when they really should not have been. If this didn’t happen they may have actually beeable to prove to the selectors that they were worthy of staying in the team. India is the only country in the world that does not allow the unpires to use the decision review system and there are a lot of people whi think that this should not be the case. Anyway, hopefully the Australian’s can come back and play stronger and then we can beat the Indian team and get out and play some golf for the remaining days of the game.

I was really enjoying the cricket late this afternoon. I was sitting here watching Australlia finally start to get on top of India in the boxing day test match. Sachin Tendulkar was looking to score his 100th International century and I was hoping that that didn’t score it yet. As much as i would like to see hime actually score it I would also like to think that he will get it when he is playing another team instead of getting in when he is playing against Australia. I do like to watch him bat but I want to see Australia play really well as well and if Sachin Tendulkar is scoring cemturies there is just no way that we are going to be able to beat them in the form we are in at the present moment. And in this game the Indian players have opted to not have video replays and a coule of the Australian batsmen really got ripped off because they were not out, and if the replays were allowed then the umpires would have overturned the decisions.

Golf is a great game

I really like playing golf whenever I can. I just got a new set of golf clubs for Cristmas and I cannot wait to get out and use them as soon as I possibly can. I will be going home from my partners paremts house tomorrow or the next day and this means that I will have some time to myself to be able to relax and enjoy the break that I am supposed to be having. I have been working really hard lately and I need to be able to unwind instead of just working all the time and it’s not really much of a break when we have all of the family thimgs to do. So far we haven’t stopped since we left home to vome here for the Christmas break but I am sure that we will very soon though. I should probably stop complaining so much and just enjoy what I am doing. Maybe my partners father would like to come out and play some golf with me and test out the new clubs. I think there is a driving ramge not too far from where we are at the moment so perhaps we can just go there.

Summer of sports

So summer is here and that means that it is time for some great sports. Cricket is probably the number one sport here is Australia at this time of the year and hopefully we will actually start to see our players coming into a bit of real form and really start to take control of the world rankings again. Aver the past few years they have really started to drop off but I suppose we went through an era where we had an alost unbeatable team. I really thing that the team that we had was the best team we have ever seen in history and it is a shame that some of the players retired when they did. But I suppose they retired at the peak of their form and they have continued to play in some of the 20/20 tournaments that have been played around the world. And the new tournament that they have here is Australia should hopefully ignite peoples passion in this form of the game.

The cricket was on

So today is boxing day here in Australia and the cricket has been on today. It has been great to see Australia actually competing really well with India although I would have liked to have seen some more runs scored. But tomorrow is another day and hopefully we will see a player or 2 really step up and play really well. I think that Ricky Ponting finally had a good innings and it was a bit of a shame to not have him keep going and score a century. He has a few people who think that he should be retiring but I really think that he should keep playing for as long as he can because he is a senior figure within the team and we need players like ths to really take control and lead the team at the moment.
